This Privacy Policy explains how Seendr (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use the Seendr mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using Seendr, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.

We do not use your information for advertising purposes and we do not sell your personal data to any third party.
3. How We Share Your Information
3.1 With Other Users
By using Seendr, certain information is visible to other users as part of normal platform operation. This includes your display name, profile photo, and any content you choose to share in rooms or conversations.
3.2 With Service Providers
We share limited data with the following trusted third-party providers solely to operate the Service:
- Agora: receives real-time audio and video streams for call routing. No recordings are made. Agora processes data under its own privacy policy.
- Google: when you use Google Sign-In, Google processes your authentication. Google's use of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase (Google): used to send push notifications to your device. Firebase receives your device push token.
- Vultr: our cloud infrastructure provider hosts our servers and stores your account data. Vultr operates under strict data processing agreements.
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties except as required by law.
3.3 Legal Disclosures
We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation or valid legal process; (b) protect the rights, property, or safety of Seendr, our users, or the public; or (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain information for a longer period. In-call chat messages are ephemeral and are not stored beyond the duration of a session.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These include:
- AES-256 encryption for data stored on our servers.
- TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers.
- Access controls limiting who within our team can access personal data.
- Regular security reviews of our infrastructure.
Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data and encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable device-level security.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: request that we delete your account and associated personal data.
- Restriction: request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability: request a machine-readable copy of your data where technically feasible.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days. You may also delete your account directly from the app settings, which will initiate the deletion process immediately.
7. Children's Privacy
Seendr is strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our mobile application does not use browser cookies. We may use device-level identifiers and similar technologies to maintain session state, recognize your device, and analyze usage patterns within the app. These are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.
9. International Data Transfers
Seendr is operated from Cameroon. Our service providers (including Agora, Firebase, and Vultr) may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or a prominent notice within the Service. The “Last updated” date at the top of this policy will always reflect the most recent revision.
